IPAF MEWP Operator Training

For anyone required to supervise or rescue an operator, or anyone who needs to safely operate a MEWP in any machine category.

3b – Mobile Boom – Star 10 / Genie Z45 / S6

Entry-level course, no need for prior MEWP experience

Theory section and test, followed by practical training and a test at one of our IPAF Approved Training Centres. 

Working at Height 

Covers the essential points (current legislation, regulations and guidance) for those working at height.

Harness Use & Inspection

For those who do need to use or wear a harness themselves & those who are responsible for inspecting their company’s personal fall protection equipment and maintaining inspection records. On completion of this course you are qualified to certify your company’s harnesses.

MEWPS for Managers (online)

Aimed at those who plan, supervise or manage work at height with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). Makes managers aware of the different types of MEWPS and their suitability for specific jobs.

MEWP Demonstrator

For anyone who may be delivering a MEWP and is obliged to show the hirer how to use the machine, or an operative that needs to do a pre-start check on a machine or a handover with a colleague.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Training

Teaches you to recognise various mental health problems, how to start a conversation with someone who is suffering, and what to do until further help is available. Will also show how to promote positive mental health in the workplace.

Manual Handling Training

The aim is to give the student the skills and knowledge required to be proficient in Manual Handling operations. Helps to minimize the risk of injury to themselves and their colleagues.

Fire Marshal Training

This course provides delegates with the necessary knowledge and understanding required to competently undertake the role of fire warden / fire marshal in the event of an emergency in order to manage fire risk and aid safe evacuation.
